Home Energy Audit – $300
A Home Energy Audit is a great value for homeowners experiencing energy efficiency, comfort and/or moisture related issues. We use the tools necessary to diagnose the causes of problems with the building performance and develop solutions to the underlying causes.
- Visual inspection: Attic, Interior, Crawlspace, Basement and Exterior
- Blower Door Analysis: Measures air leakage in the home to pinpoint leakage points, prioritize air sealing improvements, and measure fresh air limitations.
- Infrared Imaging: Reveals sources of energy loss that cannot be inspected such as closed wall and ceiling cavities.
- Summary of recommendations, photos, and a quote for improvements

Comprehensive Home Energy Audit – $400
The more in-depth home performance analysis is our Comprehensive Home Energy Audit and includes additional diagnostics and reporting measures. With provided homeowner energy use information we can compare your homes to similar homes and calculated estimated returns for the improvements recommended.
- Visual inspection: Attic, Interior, Crawlspace, Basement and Exterior
- Blower Door Analysis: Measures air leakage in the home to pinpoint leakage points, prioritize air sealing improvements, and measure fresh air limitations.
- Infrared Imaging: Reveals sources of energy loss that cannot be inspected such as closed wall and ceiling cavities.
- Zonal Pressure Testing: Additional testing to diagnose duct leakage/balancing issues and air leakage from specific areas of the home.
- Energy Usage Analysis: Energy bills are compared to similar homes and described month by month. 1 year of bills must be provided for this and for the return on investment calculations.
- Detailed Energy Audit Report and a quote for improvements

Do I Need An Energy Audit?

2. Does the energy auditor have BPI certification?
Our auditors are required to maintain Building Performance Institute Certification. BPI certified professionals have been educated and tested by the Building Performance Institute. Rest assured that your auditor has been professionally trained to safely resolve health, comfort, and efficiency issues.
3. I am interested in the recommended energy efficiency upgrades, who should I call?
